Beelzebufo is a prehistoric species of frog that lived during the late Cretaceous period, about 70 million years ago. It is known as one of the largest frogs that ever existed and was discovered in Madagascar.
Beelzebufo grew to be about 16 inches (40 cm) in length and weighed around 10 pounds (4.5 kg). Its name means "devil frog" in Greek, and it was given this name because of its size and potential ability to eat small dinosaurs and mammals.
It is believed that Beelzebufo was a sit-and-wait predator, waiting for prey to come close before attacking with its powerful jaws. Its diet likely consisted of insects, small mammals, reptiles, and other frogs.
In the video game "ARK: Survival Evolved," Beelzebufo is also known as the "Giant Toad" and is a tamable creature that can jump high and attack enemies with its tongue.
